Own business operations

We are committed to reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions  from our own operations by at least 35% by 2025, and 70% by 2030 (compared to 2019). To reach this goal, we have set underlying targets, which are:

• 45% reduction of scope 1 and 2, and 25% reduction of scope 3 emissions in 2025 and;

• 75% reduction of scope 1 and 2, and 50% reduction in scope 3 emissions in 2030

This covers greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from our lease car travel and natural gas (scope 1), electricity and district heating (scope 2), and business air travel (scope 3). We do this by taking energy efficiency measures in our offices, implementing sustainability within our transportation policies and our employee benefit packages, such as lease cars (for example we set targets for a 100% electric car fleet in 2025 in the Netherlands), and business air travel. With this path we expect to reach net-zero by 2040.
